Working on-site takes a concerted effort. We sing, praise, pray and plead together for the children and the mothers. (When asked why I don't consider what we do to be cruel to mothers, I often respond, "You've never seen a mother after an abortion, have you?" Truly there are few things sadder than a mother who has killed her own child. Those who disagree need to try to comfort just one.)
It's interesting to note that children instantly grasp the reality that killing other children is wrong on a very basic level. Their general response? "Why? Were they bad children?" (I rarely take my children anymore. Abortion is such a lucrative business that some authorities appear willing to do just about anything to keep it legal.)
